Mr. Shaffer serves as President of the Board of Directors. He is the Director of Business Development at Dublin Methodist and Grady Memorial Hospitals.His current responsibilities include growth and development of women's health, orthopedics, oncology and heart services for these campuses.Previously he was the Director of Pharmacy for Grady Memorial Hospital from 2006 to 2009 and the Director of Pharmacy for the Dayton Heart Hospital from 2000-2006.Ben received his Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University in 1999 and his MBA from Columbia Southern University in 2007. Ben is an active member of Delaware Rotary Club, Delaware Chamber of Commerce, United Way's Young Professional Group and a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Delaware County program.
Ben and his wife, Whitney, live in Plain City and are the parents of two young daughters.
Laura Scott
Mrs. Scott serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors. She is the Controller at V&P Hydraulic Products and has been with the company for 22 years.
She was born in the city of Delaware and graduated from Buckeye Valley High School and Columbus State Community College and has resided in Delaware County most of her life. Laura and her husband Judd, have three adult children and reside in Galena.
David Green
Mr. Green is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He is the Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at Greif and has been with the company since 1986. He is orginally from Great Britian but left there in 1978 after receiving his CPA. Since then, he has lived in Holland and Brazil before coming to the United States.
David and his wife Allyson have two sons and reside in Powell, Ohio.
Mary Jane Santos
Mrs. Santos currently serves as the Secretary of the Board and has been employed with the Delaware County District Library for 27 years and currently serves as the Director.
Mrs. Santos serves as Chairperson of the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Delaware Rotary, Delaware Community Lions, Grady Guild #5, and serves on the Board of Directors for Delaware Creative Housing. She is a former city council member and represented the 4th ward.
Mary Jane and her husband Rick, have three children and one grandchild. Their children all attended Delaware City Schools and still reside in Delaware. Mary Jane is a 36 year resident of Delaware.
Gaylord Benner
Mr. Benner is Vice President of Global Supply Chain & Logistics at Greif and has been with the company since 2002 serving in various capacities.Gaylord received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1997. He also serves on the Board of the OSU Fisher College of Business Center for Operational Excellence. Gaylord and his wife Joan have two daughters and reside in Westerville, Ohio.
Berni Dodeci
A native of Cleveland, Ohio Mrs. Dodeci is the Office Manager/Program Director for the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Dodeci lived in Wooster, Ohio for 25 years where she raised her family. Berni came to Delaware two years ago when the company her husband worked for moved their warehouse to Delaware.
Mrs. Dodeci is an LPN, past State President of the Ohio Association of Emblem Clubs and currently volunteer for several local agencies. She enjoys cooking, golfing, and community service.
Berni and her husband, Chuck reside in Delaware and have two adult children.
Brenda Retterer
Ms. Retterer has worked for The Delaware County Bank for five years and is currently the Banking Center Officer for The Galena Branch.
Brenda has been actively involved with the United Way of Delaware County and the American Cancer Society during her twenty years as a resident of Delaware County. She was presented with the United Way of Delaware County 2009-2010 "Workplace Champion 10 Steps to Success Award".
Brenda and her three boys reside in Delaware County.
Suzanne Schupp
Ms. Schupp has been employed with the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center for 12 years and currently the Administrative Operations Manager.
She serves on the 4-H Dog Advisory Committee and is a tax preparer for the VITA program. In addition to these activities, Ms. Schupp is a 4-H dog trainer, and a Certified Canine Good Citizen testor. She is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals - Delaware Chapter, American Physical Therapy Association, and the Ohio Physical Therapy Association.
Suzanne has two adult children and resides in Delaware, Ohio.
Suzanne Slowey
Ms. Slowey is a trial attorney and a mediator.Her legal practice is limited to criminal defense and she represents clients in both state and federal courts.Prior to going into private practice, she was employed as an Assistant Federal Defender.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Slowey has extensive mediation training and experience and mediates numerous issues, such as cases involving divorce, foreclosures, contracts, and workplace disputes.She enjoys serving as a volunteer for the Delaware Municipal Court Mediation Program and is a member of several bar and mediation associations.
Suzanne and her husband reside in Delaware County.
Barbara Smith-Allen
Mrs. Smith-Allen is the Community and Government Relations Coordinator at Columbus State Community College. In this capacity, she coordinates, implements and administers program functions regarding community outreach strategies which support the mission and institutional goals of the College. Additionally, she provides leadership strategies for community engagement. She also establishes and cultivates relationships with community leaders to better understand community needs, services and products. Barbara recevied her Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University in 1999 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University.
Barbara is a board member of the Mount Vernon Avenue District Improvement Association, and advisor for the JP Morgan Chase Leadership Academy for Girls, serves on the Advisory Board at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Eduction Center and is a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Delaware County program.
Barbara enjoys enjoy spoiling her only grandson and motorcycle riding. She and her husband, Gene reside in Reynoldsburg.
Shawn Stevens
Mr. Stevens is the owner of Great American Title Agency in Columbus.
Shawn received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Miami University in 2000 and his MBA from The Ohio State University in 2003.
He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College Business School, a member of the Delaware County Tax Incentive Review Board, and serves on the Sunbury Meadows Community Development Authority Board of Trustees.
In addition to spending time with his family, Shawn enjoys basketball, politics, reading, gardening and golf.
Shawn and his wife Deanna have three children and reside in Sunbury, Ohio.
