"Assisting families and individuals of Delaware County in a collaborative effort by providing personal emergency assistance with dignity and respect in their time of need"
Annual CANpaign Food Drive March 29 - May 15, 2010
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
In 2009, PIN served 56,691 meals to 6,500 individuals!
Because of the storage limits we faced in our old building, we were only able to provide a three day supply of food to individuals and families five times a year. The move to our new facility has given us increased storage capacity and we are now able to provide the same supply of food once a month. In just the last four months of 2009, the food pantry saw an increase of 22% over the same period in 2008.
It's time to restock our food pantry shelves and the annual CANpaign provides an opportunity for you to help us. Anyone can participate: businesses, churches, civic organizations, families, friends, neighborhoods, schools, etc. All you need to do is sponsor a food drive and collect items from the list below. Once you have completed the food drive, please call and schedule a time to drop off the collected items. Our food pantry staff can be reached by calling 740.363.6284 ext. 102.
