The population of Delaware County has more than tripled since PIN was formed in 1980 and our services have expanded proportionately during the same time. In 2008, PIN provided more than 5,200 instances of direct support totaling approximately $350,000 to people in need within Delaware County. Statistics show that we are meeting only a fraction of the need within our county, and the need is growing. Unfortunately, we have reaced the maxiumum number of people we can serve from our current facility.
Today, PIN operates in a residential neighborhood out of a century-old, three-story 2,500-square-foot house...with severe limitations:
