"Assisting families and individuals of Delaware County in a collaborative effort by providing personal emergency assistance with dignity and respect in their time of need"
Volunteers are vital to our ongoing programs. Coming from all walks of life with diverse talents and skills - and a passion to serve - our volunteers make our work possible. Volunteers receive in-service training through PIN and other community resources, and on-the-job instruction. Our volunteers:
Fill food orders and maintain inventory in the food pantry
Perform clerical work such as data entry, filing and mailing
Participate in special projects, including the annual Spring Fling fundraiser, "CAN"paign and Holiday Clearing House
Raise awareness in the community through the Speakers Bureau
Seasonal volunteer opportunities include:
Spring Fling - Date to be determined
Cropwalk - 1st Sunday in October
Holiday Clearing House - starts the first Saturday of December
We deeply appreciate all our volunteers who give so much of themselves to make life better for others. If you are interested in volunteering for PIN, please contact us at 740.363.6284 or via email: info@delawarepeopleinneed.org
