Director of Emergency Services

The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for all areas of Emergency Services and community events for programs. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or have five years of relevant social service experience.

Duties include customer service, vendor relations, all programs, grant writing, allocations, accounts payable process and program evaluation.

The role has an ideal start date of May 2024.

Internships at PIN

People In Need, Inc. is supported by a strong team of interns year-round. PIN is currently searching for four outstanding interns to join our team for Summer 2024! These are ideal roles for students currently seeking a degree at any institution of higher education who wish to gain meaningful experience in a local nonprofit setting.

All internships receive a paid monthly stipend ($500/month.) Internship positions are 10-week assignments from May 28 - Aug. 2.

Community Engagement Intern will work closely with the Director of Community Engagement to ensure the smooth and successful operation of PIN’s communications, development, marketing, and fundraising efforts. This role works closely with confidential donor and client data to market volunteer and donation opportunities as well as opportunities to utilize PIN’s various services.

Emergency Services Intern will work closely with the Emergency Services Director to manage programs and ensure they are accessible to clients. This is an essential role which will work closely with confidential client information to assemble the best resources available to them and ensure PIN’s assets are being used to the greatest benefit of the community.

Food Insecurity Programs Interns will work closely with the Director of Food Insecurity Programs to help coordinate the daily activities of PIN’s Food Pantry and Warehouse activities. This role is critical in ensuring PIN’s ability to fulfill our Mission and help end hunger in Delaware County.
